The first derby day finally took place last Thursday, 12 June. The day when the top teams went head-to-head to see who was the best. There were lots of derbies within the same leagues, but the ladies and NZVB teams also played teams from the KNVB. In the end, it's fair to say the teams had a blast and the day was definitely worth repeating.
But the evening did not end here! Once the derbies were done and everyone had a chance to shower, the drink organised by the ZuipCie could get started in 't Lempke. During the championship of hangovers, people could compete with each other to see who could handle alcohol the best. We played games like Minesweeper, Horse Race, Flip the Cup, Beer Pong Battleships and more. Also, the winners of the 'zuipklassement' were announced at this drink. N8 was named team champion of the association, and Joep van den Berg became individual champion for his perseverance and weekly presence in 't Lempke. 🏅
