On 2 July it was there, the General Championship where the winners of the leagues and Totelos Internal Tournaments could compete against each other. Furthermore, this also featured a name that has been away for a year: Dagbesteding 1! The reigning champion competed to show why the cup is theirs.
In the group stage, it already became clear. The level of the teams was very close. With many results of 0-0 and 1-0, it was already bound to be some very exciting (semi-) finals. When the group stage was played, Dagbesteding 1 and BierMT were crowned winners of the pools. International Team and FC UUUUUU also went through as 2nd of the pools.
Where Dagbesteding 1 took on International Team, BierMT played FC UUUUUUU. There were many chances in both games, the duels were fierce and the pace was nice and high, but of course only two teams can come out on top. With a clever win, International Team managed to eliminate the reigning champion. In addition, FC UUUUUU was a size too big for BierMT.
The final was again very entertaining. As both teams tried to play their best together, there were many nice actions and chances. Yet International Team managed to score from a free kick. With this, International team managed to take over the title from Dagbesteding 1 as the new General Champion!
