The training sessions of E.S.Z.V.V. Totelos take place at the Eindhoven Student Sports Centre and are led by our trainers Atef el Allouche, Raymond Starke, Joey van Hoof, Rik Geurts, and Jort Arendse.

The training on Tuesday evening (21:30–23:00) is an open training session; anyone with a sports card is welcome to join free of charge on this evening. On Mondays and Thursdays, training is held for our (training) members. Monday’s session is mixed, while Thursday has separate women’s and men’s training sessions. If you are interested in training on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can become a training member for €30 per academic year. Competition members automatically have access to the Monday and Thursday training sessions.

The selection teams (T1, T2, and T3) train on Monday and Wednesday evenings. These training sessions are only accessible by invitation from the coaches or the board. The women’s selection trains on Tuesday evening; this session is also only available by invitation from the coach or the board and is led by Rik Geurts.

Extra training times for teams on Thursdays

In addition to the regular training sessions, members of specific teams have the opportunity to take part in an extra training with their teams. On Thursdays, there is a training session every other week. In week X, training is held for T4, T5, T6, and T7. The following week, all teams without their own training session have the opportunity to train through a sign-up system. The team captain is responsible for this.

Trainers

Atef el Allouche

Atef is our trainer of the Thursday technique/tactics training and also of our men’s selection teams. With our recreational players, he knows how to train hangover resistant, but listen to his tactical instructions! This energetic coach knows how to find a point for improvement with every world goal and partly thanks to his tireless efforts, our selection teams are very formidable opponents. Partly thanks to Atef, Heren 1 became champion in the big league in the 2016/2017 season and was promoted to the Top class!

Raymond Starke

Raymond is the former coach of our women’s teams and also the ex-coach of Dames 1. Under Raymond, our ladies have already achieved considerable success, such as the title of the big league in 2016/2017 and since the 2013/2014 season, the Totelos ladies are title holders of the regional cup. In 2016/2017, Dames 1 even made it to the semi-finals of the national cup, a historic achievement for Totelos. Raymond can rightly be called a success coach! Raymond still gives training to the men every Thursday.

Joey van Hoof

Since the age of 12, Joey has been active as an indoor footballer. After playing at Totelos for 3 seasons, Joey made the move in 2019 to First Divisionist BE'79, who now plays in the Eredivisie of indoor football. After a year playing at the highest level in Belgium, he now comes out as a player for ZVS/Bodemflex. Since the 2020/2021 season, Joey has been training at Totelos. He teaches the open and selection training on Mondays and the mixed training on Tuesdays. With all his experience, there is a lot to learn from Joey. From small tricks to tactical runs, he can do it all!

Jort Arendse

Jort has played in Totelos' first team since the 2023/2024 season. He also travelled to Croatia in 2023 to participate in the European Student Championships. This year, he fulfilled the role of KNVB commissioner in the 46th board of E.S.Z.V.V Totelos. As if governing is not busy enough, he also looks after the training of T4, T5 and T6. In these training sessions, he will use the things he learned in the first to try to improve the teams tactically.

Rik Geurts

Rik has been playing at Totelos since he was 17. In addition, he plays field football for Unitas 59 in the first team. Last year, he graduated from the ALO (Academy for Physical Education) and now works permanently at the SSCE in the fitness center and swimming pool. Starting from the 2025/2026 season, Rik will take on the role of women’s selection coach.
